Dr. Trent Nessler, PT, DPT, MPT, is an author, lecturer and leading authority on the use of movement analysis to improve athletic performance. A licensed physical therapist for more than 20 years, he has spent the last 15 years researching human movement, specifically exercise and injury prevention. He is the developer of ViPerform AMI™ and the ACL Play It Safe Program which both are currently being used by teams in the NFL, NBA, Major League Soccer and Division I intercollegiate athletics.

Dr. Nessler earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, a master’s degree in physical therapy and a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Northern Arizona University. Dr. Nessler currently sits on the editorial board for The International Journal of Athletic Therapy and Training and is a member of the USA Cheer National Safety Council. He also serves as the Vice President of Medical Services for the International Obstacle Racing Federation, an International Olympic Committee governing body.
